Site Overview
Question: What event can you go to that smells like a cattle farm and you can see some of the best athletic skilled individuals around?
At this event, there will be bareback riding, barrel racing, bull riding(My fathers favorite), tie down roping and saddle bronc riding, Give up, RODEO And its as always the top of the list of things you should watch whether its online, TV, or in person (hint hint). And we have a site that has the best way to buy your tickets. Please read below as this is one post i may get a little long on.
My Thoughts
Lets start with a little background into this massive sport; NFR Rodeo is a sport which arose out of the working practices of cattle herding in Spain, Mexico, and later the United States, Canada, Brazil and Australia. It was based on the skills required of the working vaqueros and later, cowboys, of what today is the western and mid-west United States, western Canada, and northern Mexico. Today it is a sporting event that consists of several different timed and judged events that involve cattle and horses, designed to test the skill and speed of the human cowboy and cowgirl athletes who participate.
Wow what a mouthful, so in my hayday before the beer and the women, wife, i rode but never could make it to the pro circuit. Yep i was a hang on tight, ride the bull for 8 seconds guy. I screwed my back up in 2001 in South Korea in a local bull riding tallent that really messed me up and now i am addicting to the sport for the “old time sake” type of watching. I went to 2006 in LV and loved in and want to go this time but i am not able so will be watching it on TV. (told you this gets long winded). Ok So i will end this on one note. Get to Vegas and check it out if not you will miss out this year on the great sport that is Pro Rodeo.

Very interesting site too. I do love watching this on TV. It is indeed the best promoter of Spain as far as Tourism. Several countries are now adopting this most especially those which have great fascination to Spain.
