From the author, GVH is an unbiased source for news, reviews, and advice for planning your vacation to Hawaii. One thing particularly unique about the site is that it presents the information purely from the tourist’s perspective. Some may think it is a weakness that I don’t live in Hawaii, but I actually think it is a strength. Since I’m a repeat tourist, I think like a tourist and I know what tourists are looking for and want. Another rarity of GVH is that it is one of the very, very few Hawaii blogs that is not trying to sell the reader something or push them in a particular direction. I get no commission or kick backs from anywhere I recommend.

Very clean design working with the minimalist feel, she has put a lot of effort more into her content and less in all the bells and whistles. I do enjoy looking around this site and to be honest i wish i could go back to Hawaii, from all the great content she puts into the site it really makes me wanna go. The navigation is easy to use because its in bold and in the header, as for the sidebar you will see that if you scroll down a little lower all the categories are actually very easy to work with.

My Thoughts:
The whole site is very well worked out, i actually enjoy some of the great posts she writes about.  I do feel that the design reminds me of a quick layout, but as i do read the posts the content more then makes up for it.  I like this site and am proud to claim it as My Daily Notable because of its content and good thought.  So go check it out and enjoy what she brings to the web.
