About The Site

Allrecipes.com has a wide range of categories, such as appetizers, chicken, desserts, holiday dishes, and many more. Users can add new recipes and post comments on recipes they have tried. This site allows for site reader interaction, which allows them to ask questions, or post comments on different ways they prepared the dish. It is also great, because a lot of the recipes have 100 plus reviews which provides you with a wide variety of opinions on the preparation of the dish. This site has several search options including an ingredients search.

The Site’s Design

Allrecipes.com has a great site design. It allows for flawless navigation throughout the site. There is only one ad per page throughout the site. In all, this site has great layout that you won’t look away from.

My Thoughts

This site is not one I personally use, however my wife lives on this site when she cooks. She will have our laptop on the kitchen counter with the site up so she can just follow the directions off the website.
Since the site allows for reader input, I believe this is by far the best recipe site on the web (or at least the best I’ve seen so far.)
