Site In Review:
FoodNetwork.com is the best site that I have come across that is soley about the world of food. Anything and everything you could ever imagine about food is here and more. If you are a noobie to the kitchen or a seasoned vet, this site is a must.
About The Site
FoodNetwork.com is a unique lifestyle network and Web site that strives to be way more than cooking. The network is committed to exploring new and different ways to approach food – through pop culture, competition, adventure, and travel – while also expanding its repertoire of technique-based information. This site is the official website for the TV station (Food Network) which is a 24/7 TV network about food. So if you have ever seen a show on this channel, then you will feel right at home when you enter their site.
The Site’s Design
The site’s design is very nice and meets my approval. A problem you tend to run into with a site like this, because of the enormous amounts of information, is they tend to be harder to navigate through and is usually harder to find what you are looking for. However, this site does a great job of keeping the site’s design complex enough to store all their data but simple enough for the everyday user to find what they want and go. As a reader you won’t be left searching their site for hours trying to find something, because if you havn’t found it in the first few minutes then they probably don’t have what you are looking for.
I wish I could come on here and say I am the world’s best chef, however that would be the world’s biggest lie. But I am proud to say I surround myself with great cooks including my wife and mother. They both use this site and tell me this site offers more in the way of knowledge about food then any other they have found as well. I hope this site helps when preparing your Thanksgiving lunch or dinner. Happy Thanksgiving to all.
